Between December and April, Sri Lanka's southern and western waters host the largest blue whale feeding grounds in the Indian Ocean. This six-day loop hits the three best vantage points: the deep-water canyon off Mirissa where blue and sperm whales surface to breathe, the flamingo lagoons of Bundala, and the vast dolphin pods of Kalpitiya — where spinner dolphins gather in their thousands at dawn.
This is a seasonal tour. The ocean gives no guarantees, but Mirissa has one of the highest blue whale sighting rates of any destination on earth.
